Hi! Welcome to FullDisclosureFitness.com! We’re entering an entirely new era when it comes to fitness (in case you hadn’t noticed lately). It’s been difficult to keep up with this rapidly changing industry. It seems like just yesterday, all the rage was stuff like boot camps, military style workouts, functional fitness, obstacle courses that have you crawling and climbing through mud puddles, etc.
I don’t want to name specific types of workouts here, but there was one I used to attend about 3 days a week where we hurled around tons of Olympic weights, hammered out as many strict pull-ups as possible, pushed a 150 pound sled, then climbed a rope – all in a matter of about 45 minutes.
Someone who couldn’t do this – or, rather, I should say someone who dropped in to look at such a gym during one of these workouts – might easily feel discouraged and just slink away, unseen by any of the sweating members, never to be seen again.
That’s not what we want to be like here. We want to be a website where you can find information. So let’s get the ball rolling.
By the way, if you have been intimidated by one of those gyms I just described, don’t feel bad. I’ve been there myself. You are not alone. It’s definitely not for everyone. But I can tell you this: There IS something for everyone. Let’s help you find your fit!
