In this episode of the Full Disclosure Fitness Podcast I debunk the Paleo Revolution with scientific fact. I believe taking away foods unnecessarily is making an already challenging goal (eating nutritious foods and staying a healthy weight) even more challenging.

It’s as ridiculous as starting a game of chess with a potent adversary – then removing your pawns and knights. Nobody in their right mind would handicap themselves like that, but Paleo advocates do it every day. They take perfectly nutritious (and delicious) foods and remove them from their diet for no reason.

What about Gluten? In this episode we dive deep into the gluten issues as well. I put my money where my mouth is in this episode and call “gluten free” out for what it is – a fad (be sure to email me in 3 years if I’m wrong – but I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you).     Great episode, Jay. Found you through Armi.

    Nobody would eat 300 calories of greek yogurt? That stuff is delicious. Ahaha I eat 400-500 calories of plain greek yogurt after dinner as a snack.

      Glad you found me Shane! I have to say, I have eaten a lot of Greek Yogurt in one sitting as well, we may be in the minority though! :)
