Fat Loss Transformation Vlog 4: Progress Despite a 4 Day Trip

Well guys, Scott Tousignant and I are moving through our individual jungles of fat loss – and we are most certainly making progress.

Honestly, the jungle analogy isn’t that far off – it very often seems that a very long and arduous journey is taking place. Every day is an opportunity to do well; or screw up royally.

By putting together enough good days, you start to see progress – and progress begets more progress. It’s like a snowball effect of good energy, fat loss, and success.

I’ve found this to be true in many areas of life – but none more so than in the area of fat loss and fitness. You simply must keep your eye on the prize and build upon past successes in order to succeed.

Apps like myfitnesspal and simple recipes that aren’t hard to prepare are a helping hand – but nothing beats good old fashioned desire. “Where there is a will there is a way” is such a true statement it’s ridiculous.

So without further ado, here is Scott T. and I’s progress videos. We are most certainly getting there – but halfway up Mt. Everest is still only halfway there – we have to finish this thing out!

My Current Calories and Macros:

 

1600 calories for 7-10 days, then a 2500 calorie refeed. I pushed the refeeds even farther apart because I have been feeling good.

Macros: My macros on the low days are 170g protein/120g Carbs/40g fat. My macros on my refeed day are 150g protein, then try my best to fill in the remainder with carbs. I try to eat as little fat as possible, but some sneaks in there naturally.

Cardio: 3-4x a week depending on how I feel.

    Great progress Jay! In your latest YouTube vid, I’m surprised at how developed your chest is whilst using not that heavy a weight, plus your guns look awesome! Keep it up. Gav.

      Thanks Gavin! I appreciate that man. I’ve had a little issue with my pec insertion (pain & cramping), but I’m slowly moving back up in weight for chest. Thanks so much, about to put up another vid in the next day or two 🙂
